August was a month of new beginnings, community connections, and plenty of energy at Nest. From celebrating our team to welcoming new students and teaming up with partners across sport and wellness, here’s a look back at what made August special. 

August Town Hall 

Our Nest Hotel and Campus teams came together for the August Town Hall on 3 August. The gathering brought company updates, recognition and awards for standout team members and fun activities. It was a great reminder that it’s the people behind Nest who make our community feel like home. 

Welcoming New Students: UAS-AVA

August was all about fresh beginnings. Our team took part in the New Students’ Orientation at the University of the Arts Sharjah (UAS) and the Academy of Visual Arts (AVA), connecting with incoming students to promote Nest Campus, showcase our student living experience, and source new business and leads.

Middle East Events Show at DWTC 

Our team represented Nest at the Middle East Events Show at Dubai World Trade Centre, connecting with industry partners and sharing what our spaces offer across hospitality and accommodation. 

Summer Open Golf Championship 

On 16 August, our team attended the Summer Open Golf Championship with Sharjah Golf and Shooting Club, strengthening our ties within the local sports community. 

Sharjah Sports Club (Collective Games)

We signed a collaboration agreement with Sharjah Sports Club (Collective Games) to host players and provide accommodation solutions for upcoming sports programs and events. It’s an exciting step that opens the door to more sporting partnerships and experiences for the Nest community. 

Nest x Wellfit Zumba 

Nesties brought the energy to a free Zumba session at Wellfit on Thursday, 27 August. With a complimentary shuttle from Nest Hotel reception and 50% off any smoothie at Hungry Wolves for everyone who joined, it was a feel-good way to move, get active, and refuel together.
