Welcoming Students for the Spring Intake
As the preferred student housing community, Nest is thrilled to welcome students to their new home in the heart of Sharjah’s most exciting lifestyle community. Here’s to a season of growth, learning, and unforgettable memories.
BBC Good Food Middle East Awards 2025
Nesties favourite dining spot, Kashtat Amina, received well-deserved recognition at the BBC Good Food Middle East Awards 2025. The Emirati restaurant concept, located at Aljada was named the Best Emirati Restaurant in the Editor’s Choice category, a proud moment celebrating the flavours and experiences that Nesties love and return to time and again.
Ceramic and Pottery Workshop
Nesties took part in a meaningful ceramic and pottery workshop led by delegates from The Masaraat Center for Development and Empowerment, an affiliate of Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services. The session embodied our core value of “We Care,” celebrating inclusive creativity and empowerment. It also provided valuable insight into programmes dedicated to developing skills and creating employment opportunities for people of determination.
Perfume-Making Workshop
Creativity was in the air as Nesties immersed themselves in a bespoke perfume-making workshop. From selecting fragrance notes to crafting personalised scents, the experience offered a relaxing and enjoyable way to explore self-expression.
Orientation Day
We were proud to welcome students from The Africa Institute, whose arrival brought fresh perspectives and ideas to our community. Their orientation marked another step in shaping Nest as a true melting pot of cultures, aspirations and global connections.
Sharjah Week of the Stars
Organised by the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority, Sharjah Week of the Stars brought sporting excellence to our doorstep. We were delighted to host football legends at Kashtat Amina, where Nesties enjoyed an unforgettable moment celebrating the power of sport to bring people together.
Xposure International Photography Festival
Nesties had the opportunity to attend the Xposure International Photography Festival, celebrating visual storytelling, creativity and cultural dialogue. The festival offered inspiration for students passionate about photography, media and the arts.
