Sharjah Light Festival
Nesties were treated to a spectacular display of light, color, and music at the Sharjah Light Festival 2026. A highlight of the event was the Threads of Memory (by Quiet Ensemble) installation at Aljada Park, a breathtaking fusion of heritage reintroduced with a modern signature. Organized by Sharjah Tourism, this festival brought together internationally renowned artists to celebrate creativity and heritage in a dazzling showcase.
University of Sharjah Alumni Association’s Annual Ceremony
The Nest leadership team had the privilege of attending the University of Sharjah Alumni Association’s Annual Ceremony, graced by His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and President of the University of Sharjah. The event highlighted the vital role alumni play in the university’s continued growth and development through their professional expertise and real-world contributions.
Sharjah Leaders Visit
Led by HE Khalid Jasim Al Midfa, Chairman of the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority, alongside senior leaders from Sharjah’s Government entities, Nest had the pleasure of hosting the distinguished delegation. The visit provided an opportunity to showcase Nest Hotel, highlighting a new dimension of our hospitality offering within Aljada, the downtown of new Sharjah.
Hag Al Laila Celebration
Nesties immersed themselves in the cherished Emirati tradition of Hag Al Laila, exchanging gifts and sweets in the spirit of generosity and joy. The celebration strengthened bonds within our community and spread happiness ahead of Ramadan.
Bayti Exhibition
As part of our ongoing strategic partnership with the University of the Arts Sharjah, Nest hosted interior design students who showcased their final projects. The exhibition highlighted innovative and thoughtful concepts that blended creativity, functionality and universal accessibility within student living spaces.
Winterland at Nest
Nesties embraced the season at Winterland, enjoying hot beverages served by TPT Café within a cosy, winter-themed setting that brought warmth and cheer to campus life.
